Fill out this form if you would like to specify a local chapter connected to your sponsorship, if you would like to be anonymous, or if you are planning to share your sponsorship with another donor.

Sponsor a Local Chapter

Our chapters are run by volunteers who organize and advocate for sortition, and make assemblies happen. Sponsorships help them with events and new initiatives like sprint or model assemblies. In Los Angeles, our local chapter’s mini assemblies led to multiple major assemblies and long-term institutionalization in Culver City!

A sponsorship covers a full year of that for one chapter. You can name the chapter you want to support, or leave it to us and we'll send it where the need is greatest right now.

Sponsors get recognized on the chapter’s page, but sponsors can also choose to remain anonymous. The most important thing, though, is that with your sponsorship, you are building the lasting movement for sortition!

Where the money goes

Of a $3,435 sponsorship, $3,000 goes directly to the chapter. About $100 covers card processing. The remaining $335, roughly 10 percent, goes to our general operating fund.

That last part pays for the things every chapter depends on but no single chapter can fund: insurance, chapter training, the shared tools they organize on, accounting, etc.
